Measuring Change

Of course you can measure successful networking! Smarter Networking conduct before & after programme audits to understand where our participants are coming from and measure the success of our training.

The biggest issues that stop people from networking successfully are skills, mind set and confidence. In just a couple of hours we can create changes that will have a significant impact on your business results and profile.

  • One client recorded a 46% increase in pipeline business over 6 months!
  • 95% of our participants would recommend us
  • 91% would apply their new skills to their job
  • Our trainers receive an average rating of 9/10
  • We achieved a 36% overall increase in confidence

Our results

The case study below shows how the staff from one public body improved their networking skills after just one of our networking training workshops. We ran 1 day workshops for three separate groups of 10 people which included academic, marketing, operations and sales staff. The groups also varied in experience, age, gender and confidence. The focus for this networking training was on increasing new business, enhancing their profile within specific communities and engaging with speakers at conferences.

Using the delegates before and after self assessments we can know that:

  • This group rated the importance of networking as 8.7 out of 10, however before the workshop their levels of confidence and willingness to network meant they were unlikely to be engaging in it effectively.
  • Our workshops significantly increased both their confidence and their willingness to network.

The following graphs show the before and after results on a scale of 1 - low and 10- high.
